Hilal Kaplan ve İsrail’in Dilediği Özürler

Hilal Kaplan, Yeni Şafak Gazetesi’nde 21 Aralık 2015 günü yayınlanan “İsrail-Türkiye Anlaşmasında Son Durum” başlıklı köşe yazısında, İsrail’in tarihinde ilk kez ülkemizden özür dilediğini iddia etmiş:

"İsrail, Mart 2013'te, Başkan Obama'nın da bastırmasıyla özür dilemişti. Bu İsrail için büyük bir dönüm noktasıydı. Zira kurulduğu günden bu yana işlediği hiçbir suç için sorumluluk almamış olan İsrail, ilk defa hatalı olduğunu kabul edip bunun için de dünya kamuoyu önünde özür diliyordu. Bu bile tek başına İsrail için Türkiye'nin önemini izhar eden bir gelişmeydi."

İsrail’in ilk özrü Mavi Marmara için dilediği değil malesef. 2013 yılı Mart ayı öncesinde de özür dilediği vakalar mevcut. Hilal Kaplan’ın yapmaktan imtina ettiği basit bir internet taraması aşağıdaki özürleri gösteriyor:

Israel Apologizes To Egypt For Killing Three Of Its Soldiers

Israel submitted on Saturday an apology to Egypt over the death of three Egyptian soldiers who were killed by the Israeli army on Thursday following the Eilat attack carried out by gunmen who infiltrated into Israel and killing eight Israeli soldiers and wounding 30 others. The apology was submitted by Israel’s former ambassador to Cairo, Shalom Cohen, who also informed Egypt that Israel accepts conducting a joint Israeli-Egyptian investigation into the issue. Cohen went to Egypt not as an envoy dispatched by the Israeli government, but as the acting ambassador, as the Israeli ambassador, Yitzhak Levanon, is currently not in Cairo. Israeli Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, expressed Saturday “sorrow over the death of three Egyptian soldiers” who were killed by Israeli army fire following the Eilat attack. Barak added that he instructed “specialized departments” to hold an investigation into the issue, and to conduct a separate joint investigation in cooperation with Egypt.

2004 – İsrail’in Yeni Zelanda’dan Özür Dilemesi

Two Israelis are sentenced to six months in jail by an Auckland court after they admit trying to obtain a New Zealand passport fraudulently. Wellington suspects they are from the Mossad and suspends relations with Israel in protest. A year later, Israel apologizes to New Zealand, which restores ties.

Israel apologizes to the Swiss government for the incident involving its agents. Mossad head Danny Yatom resigns.

1985 – İsrail’in ABD’den Özür Dilemesi

U.S. Navy analyst Jonathan Pollard is arrested for passing intelligence to Lakam, an Israeli agency specializing in scientific cooperation. Israel apologizes to the United States and dismantles Lakam. Pollard is sentenced to life in prison.

1967 Liberty Vakası – İsrail’in ABD’den Özür Dilemesi

In one of the most controversial events in U.S. military history, the lightly armed Liberty was attacked by Israeli planes, three torpedo boats and helicopters and was bombed with napalm, torpedoed and shelled on June 8, 1967, while sailing in international waters in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Israel apologized to the United States and paid more than $12 million in compensation.

23 Haziran 1960 – İsrail’in Arjantin’den Özür Dilemesi

The Security Council condemned the abduction, and Israel apologized to Argentina. The Council adopted a resolution condemning the kidnapping by a vote of 8 to 0, with two abstentions, and one member— Argentina—not participating in the vote.
